Goldstones rapport om kriget i Gaza, där Israel försvarar sig efter ett halvdussin år och bortåt 10000 raketer/granater har avlossats mot civilbefolkningen i Israel, tog ingen hänsyn till alla dessa missiler! Det var heller inte dess FN-uppdrag eftersom detta gick ut på att anklaga Israel för krigsförbrytelser, ingenting annat!
Den kräver att Israel ska öppna sin internationella gräns mot ett annat land, Gaza, som det är i krig med! Man kan aldrig kräva hur ett land gör med sin gräns till ett annat land – ganska självklart.
FN är helt ointresserad av att försöka bromsa upp vapenflödet till Gaza, gör inte ett dyft för att kräva att Shalit släpps fri, en israelisk värnpliktig som kidnappades av Hamas för tre år sedan. De tycker våldsamt synd om de stackars terroristerna och deras väljare och tycker att stora starka Israel ska glömma bort några tusen raketer och ge dom presenter i stället, som man ju gör med barn. Rapporten uppmanar Israel att använda organisationer som Röda Korset, samtidigt som denna organisation inte har lagt ett strå i kors för att träffa Shalit och därmed brutit mot alla krigslagar. Rapporten ber snällt och varsamt terroristerna att följa lagar och förordningar – verkligheten spelar ingen roll alls, eller tänker FN börja att aktivt tvinga Hamas att helt ändra sina Stadgar som går ut på folkmord av alla judar? Eller Hamas Konstitution som inte tillåter existensen av Israel och Fatah vars möte nyligen fastställde att de hade egna terrororganisationer som kämpade emot Israel? Trots att Obamas general Dayton också tränar en armé som han själv sagt är klar att attackera Israel om 2 år? Behövs det verkligen två palestinska arm’eer mot Israel?
Israels vice utrikesminister, Danny Ayalon har träffat USA:s ambassadör i FN och kort och gott sagt att Goldstonerapporten kan jämföras med FN:s famösa deklaration att ”Sionism är rasism” och bad henne ta bort rapporten från dagordningen.
Dershovitz inlägg nedan, är bistert. Goldstone var en tämligen okänd figur innan, nu kommer han för allitd att hamna i geggan av israelhatare tillsammans med de totalt infantilförklarade Chomsky, Finkelstein, Carter….. Rapporten kunde lika väl ha skrivits av Hamas – vilket den nästan är! [Se hans inlägg nedan.]
En av medlemmarna hade dömt Israel i förväg som jag skrev om nyligen.
Hur allvarligt Goldstone tog på att vara neutral och icke vinklad i undersökningsprocessen kan man se från en notis i Jerusalem Post. En israelisk kille vittnade om att han visade filmer för Goldstein om hur barn i Sderot sprang för livet när raketer kom från Hamas och de hörde sirenerna som varnar 15 sekunder i förväg. Under visningen somnade Goldstein……..
President Peres är mycket bitter när han skriver: ”Goldstone driver med historien” och legitimerar terrorism, förbjuder länder att försvara sig mot dom!
Netanyahu sa att världen måste helt avvisa Goldstonerapporten. Att, som rapporten säger, Israel inte får försvara sig själv mot terroristgruppers anfall är så absurt att världsledare som accepterar rapporten dömer sig själva.
Till och med Guardian, som normalt är anti-israelisk, anmärker på rapporten.
Goldstone försöker själv lite valhänt och totalt misslyckat försvara sig i NYTimes.

Goldstonerapporten säger i korthet:
The recommendations of the Goldstone Committee report on the Gaza conflict are not binding on any of the parties to whom they were addressed, including Israel and the Palestinians.
1.Recommendations to Israel:
a.Israel should immediately cease the border closures and restrictions of passage through border crossings and allow passage of goods into Gaza.
b.Israel should cease restrictions on sea access for Palestinian fishermen and allow fishing activities within 20 nautical miles of shore.
c.Israel should review the rules of engagement, standard operating procedures and open fire regulations. It should avail itself of international and local experts, including the International Committee of the Red Cross, to ensure compliance with international law.
d.Israel should allow freedom of movement for Palestinians within the territories and between Gaza and the West Bank.
e.Israel should release prisoners detained in connection with the occupation.
f.Israel should stop interfering with national political processes in the territories.
g.Israel should cease actions inside Israel aimed at limiting criticism by the public concerning Israeli policy and military operations in Gaza.
h.The government should refrain from acts of reprisal against Israelis and Palestinians who testified before the committee.
i.Israel should reiterate its commitment not to harm UN premises and personnel.
2.Recommendations to Palestinian armed groups:a.Palestinian armed groups should respect international law.
b.The groups holding Gilad Schalit should release him or at least recognize his status as a POW.
3.To responsible Palestinian authorities:
a.The PA should instruct security forces under its command to abide by human rights norms and investigate all allegations of serious human rights violations.
b.The PA and Gaza authorities should immediately release all political detainees.
c.The PA and Gaza authorities should continue to enable free and independent operation of NGOs.
4.To the UN Security Council:
a.The Security Council should require Israel to launch investigations into serious violations of international law within three months.
b.The Security Council should appoint an independent committee of experts in International Humanitarian and International Human Rights Law to monitor and report on Israeli investigations.
c.The committee should submit its report in six months. On its basis, the Security Council will ascertain whether the domestic investigations are genuine and conducted in good faith.
d.If it decides that they are not, it will refer the matter to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.
e.The same terms apply to the relevant authorities in the Gaza Strip.
5.To the UN General Assembly:
a.The General Assembly should ask the Security Council to update it on the legal measures taken regarding international law violations by both sides.
b.The General Assembly should establish an escrow fund to compensate Palestinians for damages and have Israel contribute to it.
c.The General Assembly should ask the Swiss government to convene a conference of signators to the Fourth Geneva Convention on measures to enforce the convention in the territories.
d.The General Assembly should consider the use of weapons such as white phosphorous, flechettes and heavy metal such as tungsten. Israel should undertake to suspend the use of such weapons.

Double Standard Watch: Goldstone investigation undercuts human rights
Richard Goldstone – the primary author of a one-sided United Nations attack on Israeli actions during the Gaza war – has now become a full-fledged member of the international bash-Israel chorus. His name will forever be linked in infamy with such distorters of history and truth as Noam Chomsky, Norman Finkelstein and Jimmy Carter. The so-called report commissioned by the notorious United Nations Human Rights Council and issued under his name is so filled with lies, distortions and blood libels that it could have been drafted by Hamas extremists. Wait – in effect, it was!
One member of the group is an Hamas lackey who before being appointed as an ”objective” judge had already reached the conclusion – without conducting any investigation or hearing any evidence – that Israel’s military actions ”amount to aggression, not self defense” and that ”the manner and scale of its operations in Gaza amount to an act of aggression and is contrary to international law.”
So much for objectivity.
Many human rights experts urged her to recuse herself because of her prejudgment, but she was on a mission on behalf of her ”client” – Hamas. And she did a good job as an advocate. But as a judge, she employed an Alice-In-Wonderland conception of justice: verdict first, trial to support the verdict.
Other members were accompanied on their investigations in Gaza by actual Hamas activists who showed them only what Hamas wanted them to see. The group was eager to find or manufacture ”evidence” to support what the Human Rights Council itself had directed them to find, namely that Israel committed ”grave violations of human rights in the occupied Palestinian Territory, particularly due to the recent Israeli military attacks against the occupied Gaza Strip.”
This conclusion, too, was reached prior to any investigation.
No wonder so many prominent human rights experts, including Mary Robinson, refused to participate in this mockery of human rights, declaring that it was ”guided not by human rights, but by politics.” No wonder so many nations that are dedicated to human rights – such as Switzerland, Canada, Japan, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands – refused to go along with the politically motivated witch hunt. They should also refuse to accept the politically motivated, entirely pre-ordained conclusions of the biased report.
As I wrote before the kangaroo court began:
The UN Human Rights Council is a scandal. [It has] a long history of singling out Israel for condemnation and of ignoring real human rights abusers by the world’s worst offenders, several of which dominate the Human Rights Council and it predecessor.
As Hudson Institute scholar Anne Bayefsky recently noted: ‘The Council has adopted more resolutions and decisions condemning Israel than all the other 191 UN member states combined…. The more time the Council spends demonizing Israel, the less likely it becomes that it will ever get around to condemning genocide in Sudan, female slavery in Saudi Arabia, or torture in Egypt.”
The very idea of the UN Council conducting an ”independent” or objective investigation of Israel is preposterous.
A careful reading of the official media summary -the widely quoted press release – of the report itself reveals the bias of its members and discredits the entire enterprise. The summary never criticizes Hamas. It downplays the rockets deliberately fired by Hamas at Israeli civilian targets in Sderot and other towns and cities, blaming them on generic ”Palestinian armed groups.”
It faults Israel more than Hamas for using human shields. It cites the admission of Hamas leader Fathi Hammad, who boasted that:
For the Palestinian people, death has become an industry, at which women excel, and so do all the people living on this land. The elderly excel at this, and so do the mujahideen and the children. This is why they have formed humans shields of the women, the children, the elderly, and the mujahideen, in order to challenge the Zionist bombing machine. It is as if they were saying to the Zionist enemy: ‘We desire death like you desire life.'”
But concluded that ”it does not consider [this admission] to constitute evidence….”
It ignored videos, which constitute hard evidence, that clearly show Palestinian terrorists firing rockets from civilian areas, including schools. This was part of a pattern of ignoring evidence that undercut its pre-determined conclusions and exaggerating – sometimes manufacturing – evidence that supported it.
The lowest blow and the worst canard contained in this lie-laden report is that the Israeli judicial system is incapable of conducting investigations and bringing about compliance with international law.
It claims that the Israeli judicial system ”has major structural flaws that make the system inconsistent with international standards,” and that ”there is little potential for accountability for serious violations of international humanitarian and human rights law through domestic institutions in Israel.”
This is a direct attack on the Israeli Supreme Court by a lawyer who knows full well that there is no country in the world that has a judicial system that demands more accountability than the Israeli system does. There is no judicial system in the world – not in the United States, not in Great Britain, not in South Africa, not in France – that takes more seriously its responsibility to bring its military into compliance with international law.
The long-term president of the Israeli Supreme Court, Professor Aharon Barak, opened the Supreme Court of Israel to all claims of law violation. Cases that would be rejected by the courts of other nations have been pursued by the Israeli Supreme Court. This part of this infamous report has literally turned black to white and white to black. It has condemned the most responsive judicial system in the world, without even bothering to compare it to other systems. In doing so, they have made a mockery of international human rights and turned into a weapon that targets only Israel.
Another Orwellian ”newspeak” conclusion is that ”the international community has been largely silent” about alleged Israeli abuses in the Gaza and the West Bank. Didn’t the investigators even read the reports of the Human Rights Council, as well as so many other organizations of the international community, that obsess over Israeli imperfections, to the exclusion of other real human rights abusers?
No country in the world has been subjected to more criticism than Israel. Yet on Planet Goldstone, ”The international community has been largely silent” about Israel. This statement could only have been written by a variation of the three monkeys with hands covering their eyes and ears, but not their mouths.
Every serious student of human rights should be appalled at this anti-human rights and highly politicized report. Judge Richard Goldstone should be ashamed of himself.
In an apparent effort to curry favor with the international anti-Israel establishment, and perhaps with the Nobel Peace Prize Committee, he has abandoned all principles of objectivity and neutral human rights. He no longer deserves the mantle of a human rights advocate. He has done more to destroy the credibility and objectivity of human rights than any credible human rights personage in modern times.
If the methodology and conclusions of this infamous report were ever applied generally to democracies seeking to combat terrorists who hid behind civilians – as in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq – it would constitute a great victory for terrorism and a defeat for democracy.
But not to worry. The report is not intended to establish general principles of international law, applicable to all nations. It is directed at one nation and one nation only: the Jew among nations – Israel. For shame.

En sak är säker – tyvärr men det var Israel som mördade svenske Fn-tjänstemannen Folke. Våldes föddes och det får man INTE heller glömma!
Nu används våld i förintelsens namn där man ockuperar ett folk, behandlar de som djur och förväntar sig ett normalt agerande. Är det lögn att infrastukturen bombas?
Det finns nog bara en lösning för Israel-Palestina och det ät att förinta alla palestinier en gång för alla så får israeler fred och europeiska medel behöver inte kastas i sjön. Våld födder våld och ingen, INGEN har lärt sig någonting av historiens hemska bedrifter.

F Bernadotte var nog en god man, men enbart för att han var svensk är han inte bättre än många andra. Judarna i Israel var där för att överleva – inte för att ägna sig åt diplomatiska finesser. FN:s rekommendation 1948 – inget tvingande – var helt omöjliga för judarna, även om de accepterade dem, vilket inte en enda arab gjorde utan anföll. De gjorde vad som var tvunget, och har du följt FN fram till idag till Goldstones förbud för Israel att försvara sig mot terror vet du att Israel inte kan överleva utan egen tankeverksamhet.

Våldet mellan palestinaaraberna och judarna föddes inte med mordet på Folke Bernadotte. Redan de tidiga judiska bosättningarna i det glest befolkade Palestina utsattes för överfall av arabiska band. På 1920- och 1930-talet eskalerades det arabiska våldet under ledning av den Hitlerbeundrande Haj Amin al-Husseini (som tillbringade en stor del av Andra Världskrigets år i Tyskland).
Att påstå att palestinierna behandlas som djur är faktiskt en lögn. Ta bara ett sådant exempel som att 6000 à 7000 palestinier från Gaza fick vård på israeliska sjukhus under år 2008, trots att Israel inte har någon sådan skyldighet. Visar detta på att man behandlar palestinier som djur? På de palestinska områdena, däremot, jublar man och håller parader när någon självmordsbombare lyckats ta med sig ett antal judar i döden, likgiltigt om det är barn, tonåringar eller åldringar.
Grundorsaken till konflikten är palestiniernas – och övriga muslimers – vägran att godta judisk närvaro i Mellanöstern. Pga idén att muslimskt land alltid måste förbli muslimskt kämpar man för ett odelat Palestina, varifrån judarna har fördrivits. Tala om etnisk rensning!
